This trip is pure Madagascar: a complete immersion in Malagasy nature in the east of the island, a close encounter with its forest inhabitants, a relaxing boat trip on the Pangalanes channel and wonderful relaxation on the two offshore islands of Ile aux Nattes and Ile Ste Marie.

Day 1: Departure from Europe
Day 2: Arrival in Antananarivo 2 nights at the "Chalet des Roses" hotel.
Day 3: Off to the East! Antananarivo - Andasibe
After the unique church service at Father Pedro's (Sundays) we drive from Antananarivo through impressive mountain landscapes to Andasibe. On the way we explore the gardens of Madagascar Exotic and discover butterflies, chameleons and other reptiles.
In the evening, we will go on a guided night hike and observe the nocturnal lemurs! If the weather is clear, a sparkling starry sky will be visible.
140 km, 3 to 4 hrs, approx. 1 hr night hike. 2 nights at the hotel "Feon'ny Ala" (Voice of the Forest).
Day 4: Andasibe National Park
In the national park we meet the largest lemurs on earth, the Indri Indris and the Sifakas and listen to their cries. The Indris (Babakoto) can only be found here, in their natural habitat. In the afternoon we visit the Lemur Islands. 3 hrs. hike, approx. +/- 120 meters altitude difference
Day 5: To the nest of dreams! Andasibe - Akaninofy
Today, we will have several short stops on the way to typical Malagasy fruit stands, magnificent viewpoints and other highlights. Our tip: The bathing suits should be ready to hand! In the afternoon, we reach a lake, which we cross on a boat to get to the Nest of Dreams (Akaninofy).

Day 6 & Day 7: Pure relaxation in the Nest of Dreams
We stay two full days to enjoy this secluded, idyllic place! In the morning of the first day, we hike together through tropical forest and meet more lemurs at eye level. The rest of the time is free to explore and enjoy the surroundings on your own.
In the evening, the fingered animal Aye-Aye - a very rare, nocturnal lemur species - can be observed on a short guided trip (optional).
Day 8 & 9: Trip to Ile aux Nattes, Ste Marie
A boat trip along the Canal des Pangalanes takes us through remote villages to Toamasina. From there, we take the car along the beautiful east coast to the seaside resort of Foulpointe. The next day, a boat will take us to the islands of Ile Ste Marie and Ile aux Nattes.
Day 8: 100 km, 4 to 5 hrs. 1 night at Manda Beach Hotel
Day 9: about 150 km about 5 hrs, varied.
Day 10 & 11: Ile aux Nattes (Ile Ste Marie)
2 days and 3 nights on Ile aux Nattes have a lot to offer! Our accommodation is only 20 meters from the sea and promises maximum relaxation in Caribbean flair. If you don't want to relax under palm trees, you can discover the beautiful islands on your own, go snorkeling or on a guided whale watching tour (optional). Hotel Baboo Village
